I would find myself searching for "good deals on fancy engagement rings," "best prices on large diamond rings," and www.BloomingBeautyRing.com kept coming up in the search bar. So now it is around June, and I said to myself "let me call up this customer service number and see what BloomingBeautyRing.com is all about." I called, and spoke to an individual named Jim, the owner of the business, I asked some basic questions about the website, and the rings, and why his prices are lower than other online websites, and drastically lower than in store prices. Jim spent about an hour per phone call with me throughout a period of a week. I was drilling him with questions like a drill sergeant, I refused to feel inferior. After about a week, I felt like Jim was extremely genuine in helping me find the best diamond that suited my needs. I ended up deciding it was too soon for me to proceed with buying a diamond, as I was still nervous about buying such a large purchase online. I thanked Jim for his time, and hung up the phone. In addition, it is now December and I am feeling extremely confident in my purchasing ability this time. After reading every single F.A.Q. and "guide" on BloomingBeautyRing.com and various diamond buying guides online, I felt at ease about buying a diamond ring online. I quickly had the idea of searching the internet for Blooming Beauty Ring reviews, because I usually don't trust any testimonials, I'm just a very cautious person, and I didn't want to make any fallacious decisions that would lead to an incompetent purchase. I decided, to e-mail Jim, this time, and we e-mailed back and forth for a solid 30 days straight, I felt more comfortable sending very detailed and copious e-mails back and forth rather than over the phone. It is stressful enough for us men, buying an engagement ring, finding the perfect one, buying one online, and finding the perfect way to propose!!! I ended up going with a Princess Cut diamond; I find they sparkle like a bright white light of brilliance, and shine like a glistening meteor at night. I told Jim I didn't want to buy anything unless it was the best of the best, and perfect. I asked him to check every option available, and he did without question. I told him time was not of the essence, and to take all the time he needed. Jim spent the next two weeks finding numerous diamonds for me to look at, along with sending me the certifications and specifications of the diamonds (I kind of went overboard with wanting to know everything and anything I could about diamonds). Two weeks passed, and Jim sent me an e-mail with three different types of diamonds to select from all at the same price. A 1.26 Carat, E-Color-SI-1 Clarity Very good, Princess 6.03 X 6.03 (perfect square princess cut) an 1.31 G Color – VS2 Clarity Very Good princess cut and a 1.30 F in color VS2 in clarity very good cut, but slightly off measurements of a perfect square. Jim recommended I go with a platinum head, this is the prong made of platinum that holds the center diamond in place. I didn't think much of it at the time, because it was an extra $150-$200. I told Jim I would take a week and get back to him. Now we are halfway through January , and I felt like the King of the World. I quickly rushed to some high end jewelry stores, and was completely honest with them. I asked five individuals opinions, and they all told me, go with a Higher Color, and Perfect Measurements with VERY GOOD cut when compared to a larger diamond, with lesser qualifications. I told them the whole story about buying online, and they all said the same thing. "Wow, Jonathan you really put a lot of work into education yourself about diamonds, and finding the best diamond for you, our personal suggestions would be go with the princess cut, that has the most sparkle, and shine with good measurements, because 90% of people over look this category, and don't know or don't even ask about it. I thanked them for the time they spent with me. As I was walking out, the store manager ended up telling me to make sure to ask for a platinum head on the diamond prong, this is extremely important he said for the safety of the diamond. I felt a "sigh of relief," when hearing this because, I didn't even mention the platinum head to them. I quickly looked at the rings in store that were $5,000+ and sure enough, the tag said they all have a platinum head. I ended up calling Jim, and placing my order, it only took me a year to figure out what I wanted. ~~Haha =) ~~ I ended up going with a 1.26 Carat, E Color, SI-1 Clarity, and Very Good Cut Diamond by EGL standards. I will include q picture of the ring and setting I went with. I decided to pay with a bank wire transfer, because I saved $150 by doing so. Jim followed up with me daily, about the process of my diamond, when I will receive it, and I told him I would give my honest opinions upon purchasing the ring. After Jim spending countless hours with me, on answering every question under the sun, I felt it was necessary to give an honest review of BloomingBeautyRing.com and story of buying a ring online. This man Jim is an outstanding individual, coming from a person who NEVER complements anyone. He has nerves of steel, and is extremely patient and not pushy at all. I hated the feel of going into a store, and feeling "that awkward feeling everyone hates, when you don't want to buy something, and they force you to feel like you have to." Jim never did that to me once, he always said, if I didn't get anything, he was just happy with making sure I was knowledgeable about purchasing a diamond. When I received the ring, I was floored, I felt the need to put on my designer sunglasses just to look at the ring, talk about going blind! I ended up proposing to her at a upscale restaurant called "The Capital Grille," I ordered two mixed drinks, they have an individual come out and prepare the drinks at the table in front of you. I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She said yes, and we enjoyed a lovely evening at dinner, and when we arrived at the Hotel, she found roses all over the room, soothing music, and enough chocolate and champagne to make any woman's heart melt. I felt amazing because everyone basically said the same thing "wow, I haven't seen a setting like that before, that looks like a $10,000+ ring, I'm sorry if that sounds rude." A year ago I had the Crimson Rose ring made by Blooming Beauty. It is so beautiful and the diamonds in the mounting are equal in quality and clarity of my Leo diamond in the center. I received my Blooming Beauty ring several weeks ago, even faster than I thought. The ring's details are absolutely stunning. When we had the 2.77 diamond set by our local jeweler, we were told the ring was extremely well made. Because of the size of the diamond, we had six prongs instead of the standard four made out of platinum to secure the diamond. (The rest of the ring was made out of white gold.) I was worried about it not looking quite right because of there being six prongs centered around eight petals. I don’t know how he did it, but it looks centered all the way around; each leaf lines up with each prong. The sales rep, Jeremie, was exceptionally helpful and assured me the ring would come out beautiful and if for any reason, I could return it. Just to be certain of the purchase and since the ring had to be shipped, we first checked about having one made and the quote came in $3,000.00 higher. Combined with Blooming Beauty’s different flower ring choices, price, assurance of quality, and Jeremie’s knowledge and excellent customer service, we had them make my ring and I just couldn’t be happier! Nearly every day, I get at least one compliment.

This is my first review ever, I don't have time for these things but this review is worth taking the time. Where do I start? for most guys buying the perfect diamond and engagement ring is something like mission impossible. This would be my second wedding, I did research 10 years ago on everything and thought I knew enough to be dangerous. I had someone in the past who I dealt with and trust, he had the best prices I ever found on bands and diamonds. My biggest fear back then was to be "scammed". I wanted the best stone and setting I could afford, period. I started talking to Jeremy this time around and then the relationship and trust stared to grow. Talking to Jeremy I realized that first they had the nicest engagement and wedding bands you could get anywhere. And then we started talking about diamonds, for hours at a time over three weeks. I did a month of research before looking to commit to buying an engagement ring, and tried to arm myself with information about pitfalls in an industry that's notorious for being non-transparent to outsiders. I looked everywhere for similar designs and learned everything I could from jewelers beyond just the 4 Cs. That being said, my experience was always comfortable - it never felt like I was being mislead, pressured into buying something I didn't want, or charged an unreasonable price.

Jeremie was very helpful with answering questions and always got back to me if he didn't know the answer himself. I wanted something other than a diamond for the center stone and ended up choosing a white sapphire, which he helped me order so that it could be put on the ring after it was made. I hoped to get the ring quickly so that I could surprise my girlfriend on an upcoming cruise. Once my order went through, I received the ring in under 2 weeks. I noticed that the "14K" stamp inside the band only said "K" and was at an angle, which I thought looked a little sloppy and wanted to get fixed. In my eyes, a mistake is fine as long as you handle it well, which they did. The ring also had to be resized (because determining the ring size of a girl who doesn't wear jewelry, in secret, is hard!) and told Jeremie what I wanted. After sending the ring back (from NY to CA), I am happy to say they did a great job doing everything I asked and even got it back to me within a week.

I worked with Jeremie and Greg in designing my engagement ring and it was a great experience. I'm a self-proclaimed nit picky person who is very detail oriented and Jeremie was the perfect compliment - he had tremendous patience and understanding to help me get the ring I truly wanted. My boyfriend originally picked the original blooming beauty, but I wanted to modify the band so that it was thin single row of diamonds.. Jeremie was very understanding of what I wanted and went out of his way to design a mock up of the ring with Greg (it's now on the website as Leafy Lotus Flower Ring!). They took into account my preferences, while making sure to maintain the structural integrity of the ring.

Being from Toronto, it was certainly not an option for me to travel to LA to go buy the ring in person. Everything was done over an email exchange plus a few phone calls. Jeremie sent me photos of the wax molds of the ring to show me progress and get approval before we proceeded to the next step. They gave me an honest timeline right from the beginning (2-3 weeks because it was custom) and stuck to it - no run arounds. This was a custom job and of course anyone would be nervous about the final product. "What if I don't like it? What if it's not what I expected?" But I was reassured that if for whatever reason I was dissatisfied, I could return it. Well, there was no need for that, the ring was gorgeous - even in it's semi mount form, it was sparkly! Greg did a fantastic job with constructing the ring by hand- I don't know how his hands can create such intricacy and accurate proportions, but they did.

Overall, I would highly recommend this company. I am very pleased 🙂 I can't wait to design our wedding bands- just need to get ideas. I'm sure Jeremie and Greg will do all they can to make them a reality.

We have the most unique engagement ring! We sometimes feel bad showing our ring to others because it might make them feel bad about theirs. I recently purchased an engagement ring from Blooming Beauty and my experience was amazing. I first called and left a voice mail and within an hour I received a phone call back from Jim. We talked about the ring I wanted and if I had a center stone for it. I told him I didn’t have one and he was very helpful in explaining my options. I opted to use Blooming Beauty to help me find a center diamond. I gave Jim my budget and he explained the different types of diamonds that would fit and what looked good. He did all the work in searching for the perfect diamond and making sure I had the best diamond for my money. I was extremely impressed with Jim's enthusiasm and determination to find me the perfect certified diamond. He found me several diamonds in my price range and explained the differences in each one of them along with sending me magnified photos of them and their GIA certificates. After choosing a diamond he contacted me shortly after receiving it. He informed me that there was a slight sliver missing out of the side and that it was not going to stay in the setting. We then talked about more options since my deadline was approaching fast for when I needed the ring.
